The Blessings of Memory (poem)
Since the present leaves you
Every moment
And since you will leave what is left of it
In your own inevitable fleeting
Does it matter if you live in the past?
At least it is frozen
To be thawed in the warmth
of your wisdom
Securely eternal in memories
In a corner to which your thoughts can journey.
Anytime.
You can restore it
Like a precious, frayed painting
Mendi its scratches
in the arterial comfort of a time travel
Only those that shared your dreams know.

Every moment
And since you will leave what is left of it
In your own inevitable fleeting
Does it matter if you live in the past?
At least it is frozen
To be thawed in the warmth

Securely eternal in memories
In a corner to which your thoughts can journey.
Anytime.
You can restore it
Like a precious, frayed painting
Mendi its scratches
in the arterial comfort of a time travel
Only those that shared your dreams know.
